I've added a few leaves in golden yellow to my Autumn Tree. What do you think?
I'm undecided so far. I want to love it, but am not entirely sure that I do.
This project is done on 28 ct cashel linen from Picture This Plus (of course I can't remember the exact colour name). I've used HDF variegated silks in Kodiakery, Terra Firma, Marque des Cercles, and Old Blue Eyes.
I think it looks lovely, Adrienne. :) Is it the colors you're not in love with?
ReplyDeleteI like the autumn colours, I'm just not sure the two look alright on the tree together.
ReplyDeleteWell, I love it. The slight variegation of the colours balances it out a bit, or at least that's the way it looks on my computer screen. Some leaves are more yellow, others more orange and some completely red. I think the threads go together just fine and form a lovely, autumny whole.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great! The fabric choice could not be more perfect and the colours are so warm and welcoming. I can't wait to see more :)
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is Ditto to Heli's comment. I think it looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIts so beautiful!! I love that tree and the colours look perfect together!!
ReplyDeleteIf you don't love it, then I'll give it a good home :-) I love the swirly twigs and branches. and the leaf colours are great.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks good, but if you don't love it, pick yourself a different color and try again. After all, YOU have to look at it when it's hanging up!!!
